Buggy running

As with the last time I drank cocktails, Leo decided he didn't fancy a good nights sleep. He was great for the baby sitter. She was at ours from 18:30 until 23:00. Once I'd got him off to sleep at 19:00 he only woke up once while she was here and then all she did was pop the dummy in and he was off again.

He then had a bottle at 01:00 ish and 03:30 ish. After the last one he needed an hour and half of walking around he apartment before he went back to sleep.

Anyway, that's why I was tired this morning.

It was another beautiful autumn day and I decided to try and take him out running. Freeletics, trialed on day one of paternity, had now been totally abandoned and I needed some sustainable exercise plan. We had bought a Mountain Buggy push chair primarily for its size (see yesterday's cupboard story!) but the buggy is marketed as being "engineered for the urban active". So far it's been used for nothing that active.

His would be its first use for running apart from for the odd tram. We went to Volkspark Friedrichshain and started our run from there. Just the one slow lap of the park, but it was nice and Leo seemed pretty happy. I'll try and do that again.

In the afternoon we met up with Nina and her farther in law for a late lunch. Leo's mum joined us early from work and we had a nice quiet evening together.

It's going to be a long weekend with a public holiday on Tuesday and my partner taking a "bridge day" on Monday.
